How long ago was it when Dante Cunningham scored this many points? I'm thinking back, way back, and I can't remember when he last scored 20. I'm not going to check now, since all my frickin' old vids got deleted and that's like the easiest way to check god damn it, so we're just going to assume that it's been at least two or three seasons.
Pretty good haul for Rashad Vaughn, huh? Get a player who looks like he can contribute at least sometimes for a guy who got immediately waived. Why didn't the Pelicans want him? I'm being purposefully ambiguous: I don't know why a team like them wouldn't value either Cunningham or Vaughn. Cunningham didn't do a whole lot over his years with the Pelicans, but he was a steady contributor and I think even did some stuff in the playoffs for them that one time they squeaked in. Maybe not, though. That might have been Quincy Pondexter.
I just looked it up and this is almost a frickin' career-high for him. If he hadn't missed his last free throw, he would've tied it. Oh my god. You guys better watch this video because Cunningham hasn't looked this good since forever ago.
