HOW TO MAKE DYNAMITE LUMPIA IN 4 EASY STEPS
INGREDIENTS
15 – 20 pieces green chilies
Spring roll wrappers
350 grams ground pork
1 small carrot (grated)
1 medium onion (minced)
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
cheese strips
oil (for frying)
Water with bit of cornstarch (for wrapper sealing)
Step 1: Make a lengthwise slit on the side of the green chili. Scrape the seeds gently. To lessen spiciness, soak the green chilies in water for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Saute the onions and garlic. Add the ground pork. Cook. Add the grated carrots and saute. Season with salt and pepper. Add the oyster sauce and cook for 5 minutes. Turn the heat off and cool down.
Step 3: Fill green chili with the pork mix. Add some cheese strips. Lay a piece of spring roll wrapper in a flat surface. Wrap each green chili carefully then roll. Brush edge with some water with cornstarch to seal.
Step 4: Deep fry until golden brown. Flip to cook the other side. Transfer to a strainer or paper towel to drain oil.
