More than a week after Senegal’s opposition leader Ousmane Sonko was sentenced to two years in prison, he has still not been arrested.
He was found guilty of corrupting youth, in a trial where he was initially accused of rape.
The verdict has led to violent protests - 500 people were arrested and 23 people killed.
Women rappers raise their voices against violence in Senegal - with accusations of rape at the centre of a political crisis.
Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports from Dakar.
