Hygger aquarium water changer setup starts with connecting the two ends to the hose. There is a syphon end and a valve end. The valve end connects to the water faucet while the siphon end goes into your fish tank. You have to screw the special valve end into your faucet.

If the water changer valve doesn’t fit in your faucet then you will have to buy an adapter fitting. Check with your local hardware store to figure out the right adapter to fit the valve to your faucet.

Once the valve is connected to your faucet, turn on your faucet and figure out which setting is sucking water versus pushing water. We first want to start by removing water from your aquarium. While the water changer valve is sucking water you will want to use the siphon to clean your sand or gravel.

Once you have removed how much water you desire, you can then switch the valve to now push water to fill the aquarium. Wait for your fish tank to fill and then stop the faucet and disassemble the water changer.

Whenever you want to clean or change aquarium water just setup the hygger water changer again.
