We had the amazing opportunity to travel south from the busy city of Bangkok to the beautiful tropical island of Koh Phangan.

We leave Bangkok from Hua Lamphong train station and head to the Southerly province of Chumphon where we hop onto a ferry.

The ferry takes us even further south, deep into the Thai Gulf toward a chain of three very popular tropical islands; Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui. We briefly get to see the blue ocean water around the small island of Koh Tao and eventually get off the ferry at Thong Sala Pier on Koh Phangan.

Part 1 of this adventure ends with us settled in our beach bungalow on Haad Salad Beach in the north and most beautiful part of the island.

In Part 2 you can expect to see some snorkeling over some of the most magnificent coral reef in Thailand. It is wonderful to see that there are still places with an abundance of healthy coral reef!
