Anti-government protesters tried to remove a concrete security barrier set up around Government House as they pushed on with a "people's coup" to bring down the government of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. Protesters also hurled stones at riot police behind the barriers who fired tear gas at the protesters, sending them scrambling away from the smoke.
