Yesterday we had a very swift agreement on the conclusion on the state-organised act of hijacking of Ryanair plane above Belarus. [ Ссылка ] I think we had a quick and firm consensus and we expect the international investigation, as well as the list of measures that that can be further approved by the Council to be implemented in order to send a strong message that this is utterly unacceptable. Of course we asked for the immediate release of Roman Protasevich.

On the other hand we had a strategic debate on Russia, which was very good. We are grateful to HR Borrell for the elaboration as an introduction and we called for the report to be prepared by the High Representative and the Commission before the June European Council. We also discussed the relations with the United Kingdom, while we also approved the conclusions on the Middle East and Mali.
Today we expect a very good discussion on COVID-19, especially in regard to the COVID digital certificate. This is an instrument which will help the free movement of people in the EU, this is particularly important for the restart of our economy to its full extent, for the free movement of workers, but also the free movement of tourists during the season. For my country, Croatia, this is particularly important and now we believe that everybody who has recovered from COVID, who has been tested or has been vaccinated will be in the position to move freely and swiftly across the EU borders.
Also we expect a debate on climate. We will soon see the Commission communication in this respect. The idea is to be ready and fit in 2030 for a 55% reduction of the emissions. We believe that the entire EU Next Generation, which has two major avenues, the digital transformation and the green transformation, will enable all of us to attain these objectives on time. Croatia for its part will do the maximum contribution in order to achieve these EU objectives, to be a global leader when it comes to the climate change.
