China's deep-sea manned submersible "Fendouzhe," or "striver", set a diving record on Tuesday as it braved its way to 10,000 meters underwater and continued to head toward the deepest part of the ocean － the bottom of the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean.
Equipped with ground-breaking deep-sea communication technology, Fendouzhe can send live video signals back to its supporting ship Tansuo-2, the mother ship for Fendouzhe. [ Ссылка ]
