From the early 80s but wood seems older and this is one of the nicest looking guitars and best sounding I have ever had at any price. Reminds me of a couple of pre war martins I sold about a year ago but this seems to have more clarity while retaining warmth and orchestral balance. This is a really nice guitar........one of my best ever.
