The executive and the judicial arms of government have both dug in their heels in a show of independence. The judiciary, through the chief justice David Maraga says it will dispense of justice in a fair and just manner regardless of whether the client was the government or not, this as the executive through president Uhuru Kenyatta asked the judiciary to be wary of the impact of its actions on the government and the general population.
