These are lessons designed to get students to look inward and express how they feel or see the world. Always offer an option so that those who are not ready to "express their feelings" can still participate in a meaningful way.

Remember, as an art teacher, in a public school, you should ALWAYS report issues that arise to the school psychologist or designated person in your school or district. Unless you are a licensed therapist, YOU should not "go it alone" and offer actual therapy to students. let the professionals handle it. These lessons may elicit responses that will help therapists help your students.
