This was my second experience of totality during a total solar eclipse. My first experience was at my parents' house in Nashville in 2017. The eclipse was also a good excuse to go back to Texas to visit my friends. This was a 7-day road trip from Nashville to Houston (visited friends), through Austin, through Waco, camped in Meridian (total eclipse site), through Dallas, and back to Nashville.
