The Palace of the Parliament is the heaviest building in the world, weighing about 4,098,500,000 kilograms and the second largest administrative building in the world after The Pentagon in the United States. It is located in the heart of the city, atop Spirii Hill (Dealul Spirii) in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. The Palace reaches 84 m in height and has a floor area of 365,000 m2.
The Palace houses the two chambers of the Parliament of Romania: the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. It is also the house of three museums and an international conference center. The Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest is the most expensive administrative building in the world, valued at €4 billion.
In front of The Palace of the Parliament is Constitutiei Square where Bucharest Christmas Market 2022 is set up in 2022, between November 20th and December 26th.
