Senators have made a clarion call to acting inspector general of police Douglas Kanja to take disciplinary action against police officers who use excessive force while enforcing the law. This call was made after Kanja’s vetting report was presented to senate today, and the senate approved him as the head of the police force as the IG following the resignation of his predecessor Japheth Koome.
