Mike Pence and Kamala Harris sparred over the trade war with China during the US vice presidential debate 2020. Harris taunted Pence saying that the Trump administration lost the trade war with China and that cost US thousands of jobs. She added that the trade war forced American people to pay thousands of dollars more for goods. Harris said that by the end of the term, they will have lost more jobs than any other presidential administration.
