Ingredients:
250gm boiled chickpeas
100gm white sesame seeds
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
8 to 10 small to medium garlic cloves, chopped
half lemon juice - add as per taste
1/2 tsp cumin powder
salt as required
100ml of water
For garnishing:
extra virgin olive oil, as required
red chilli powder or paprika or cayenne pepper - as required
Black olives chopped
Preparation:
1. Heat a pan dry roast white sesame seeds till lightly toasted, keep aside.
2. Once cool in a blender add roasted sesame seeds, garlic cloves, cumin seeds, boiled chickpeas, olive oil and water as required and blend to a smooth paste.
3. Garnish with olive oil and black olive and enjoy with your favourite veggies or chips.
