Ever feel stuck or unable to decide what the team should work on next? Ever get steamrolled by an exec to take on their new favorite idea? You are not alone. As Product Managers we are constantly dealing with issues like this. In this talk Josh focused on a lean product development strategy that helps reduce and in some cases eliminate some of these common issues. The process is called Evidence Driven Development. This process is similar to the scientific method, and helps us define and deliver the products and features of highest importance to the target audience.

Josh Vincent has been building software since his computer science days at university. He is a seasoned Product Manager, Designer and Entrepreneur. He spent almost a decade shipping products at Microsoft, followed by a few startups in Silicon Valley. Most recently he shipped a major payments network for businesses and employee users of Xero.

Josh has lead user experience and product management teams and thrives in ambiguous environments that require multi-facetted skill usage and development. He is a highly user focused Product Manager, having driven the shipment of over 20 internationally recognized products, including SaaS platforms, hardware and software. He has worked as a full stack designer, IA, UX/UI, research, brand, at multiple companies.
