I love the Cornish culture and landscape, its rugged coasts and ancient forests. I have had the incredible experience to sit down with the Grand Bard of the Cornish Gorsedh, Pol Hodge to learn from him. The Grand Bard and the Bards of the Cornish Gorsedh are the wisdom and culture keepers of the Cornish people, their language, arts and culture.

After an amazing meeting, Pol generously shared a translation by Elizabeth Anne Ellis of the one of the world’s most famous songs - WITH OR WITHOUT YOU by U2 - into Kernowek, the ancient Cornish language. With his blessing, we created our version. This was filmed on the sand dunes of the Lost Church in Cornwall, England.

May we remember the language indigenous to the land and sing its sounds upon it.
