We Drive from Funchal to Santana to see the oldest houses in Madeira !
We drive from Funchal to Santana, Madeira, Portugal Stopping at Garajau to see the Christo Rei statue.
Whilst there We see one of Madeira's most frightening cable cars ..the Garajau cable car is incredibly steep !!!.
We then Drive to the North of Madeira to Santana to see it's traditional house's.
We also explore the Village of Santana and its quiet sleepy pretty centre.
The Santana houses were delightful !! well worth seeing when you visit Madeira.
We head back to Funchal Madeira to enjoy its nightlife and traditional food and drink .
Funchal has a lively poncha scene and venda valha 's poncha's were a little too nice !!!
A really good day out in Madeira Portugal.
