Maurice Van Der Beke explains the inspiration for his large public artwork in the Surrey Arts Centre called Mandala After Prayer Wheel. This artwork is the oldest in Surrey's public art collection, dating from 1974. It is made of copper and measures almost 2 metres across. It is a favourite among visitors, particularly children and youth, who love spinning it!
