Shroud Of The Avatar is an Early Access MMORPG which also has a single player RPG mode that costs $39.99 on Steam, SotA was initially announced in 2013 and managed to crowdfund over 10 million dollars before coming to steam early access, The company developing Shroud Of The Avatar was co founded by Richard Garriott, who created Ultima online, Richard says the goal of Shroud is to be a spiritual successor to Ultima online with a more interactive world and compelling story.

In this video I decided to buy the early access version of Shroud Of The Avatar to see if it's worth playing, This MMORPG is aimed at old school MMO fans who've enjoyed games such as Ultima Online, Shroud features a really interesting questing system in which you actually talk to NPCs to receive and progress on quests which I've never seen before, other than that the game has tab targeting, an instanced world and old styled graphics
