The City of Albuquerque is set to amend a resolution on Monday, June 7 as the budget approves funding for free fares on all buses and Sun Vans. Bus fares bring in about $3 million a year. The City hopes this will encourage more people to ride city transportation. The free fare program would run from October 2021 to June 30, 2022.
