Five exhibitions excited the Island! Organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Taipei International Food Show (FOOD TAIPEI), Taipei Int'l Food Processing & Pharm. A panorama of Taiwan food supply chain was presented by 1,557 exhibitors from 30 countries, 3,637 booths and in front of over 65,000 visitors.
During the event, 726 TAITRA-organized one-on-one procurement meetings between 238 Taiwan manufacturers and 68 buyers worldwide created US$ 50.66 million worth of business opportunities; a variety of specialized forums focusing on food, packing machine and processing equipment unveiled the latest trends from insiders' perspectives. In addition, the widely expected World Championship of Cookery and Asian Chef Challenge feasted the audience's eyes with global chef masters, splendid creations and breath-taking skills.
