Our Suspension Secrets F87 BMW M2/M2 Competition Adjustable Rear Traction Arms are designed with track and drag use in mind. As a result, we are extremely rigorous when selecting the materials from which we will machine our arms from. This is done both in the interest of component quality and longevity, and for the safety of you, our customers.

Our adjustable rear traction arms allow the levels of traction available at the rear to be increased by setting them longer than standard. This alters the kinematics at the rear axle, allowing the hub to rotate slightly under compression, providing much more mechanical grip on corner exit and on throttle. Our rose jointed arms also reduce the flex from the standard rubber bush, improving consistency and driver feedback through the chassis.

As a load bearing part, our traction arms are subject to high levels of stress. Aircraft-grade aluminium is the perfect material for the bodies of our traction arms. The componentry of our rear traction arms, such as the bearings and rose joints, are made from stainless steel. Stainless steel is corrosion resistant, giving our parts a long lifespan, which is crucial especially under the stresses of track work.
