We are in the peaceful town of Moana on the shores of Lake Brunner on the South Island West Coast! Today we are hitting the waters of Lake Brunner by taking a boat trip on Lake Brunner. Let’s do this!
We join Brent Beadle who does fishing charters, shuttles, scenic tours and just about anything that involves boating on Lake Brunner.
Why take a boat trip on Lake Brunner? Well the scenery is amazing. There are high forested mountains reflecting in the dark and placid waters, kahikatea forest emerging from the water, beaches and more. There is even a lot of Maori history on these waters, which we learn all about on this Boat Tour of Lake Brunner.
After exploring the beautiful Lake Brunner by Boat, one of our favourites New Zealand lakes, we head back to Moana for a quick bite to eat of a Kiwi burger then head to Greymouth for our next New Zealand backpacking adventure!
