This was an absolutely stunning venue and we are so glad we visited today!
We got to run with my amazing sister and her husband (both sub 3:45 marathoners) and we decided to take it easy - ish! The pace certainly picked up in the second half…
What an amazing location for a parkrun! The Abbey and parked looked amazing in the warm sunshine, and the ponds looked very inviting… (we didn’t, by the way).
The post run parkfaff was lovely too; a great cafe and site, excellent coffee and the egg bap was to die for.
