Must unlock retainers through MSQ scions of the seventh dawn. ventures unlock at level 17 in the main city states ill conceived venture quest. talk to vocate in market place to assign retainers with a job. must equip them with appropriate gear tied to their job role. gatherers need gathering to do ventures and battle jobs need item level. they cant level past the level your job is currently so level them up at the same time. ventures are gained from grand company beast tribes and leve quests. the exploration ventures r 18 hrs so dont wait to send em out do it early in the day. the silver pieces u gain can range from 7 to 8 per retainer. more retainers more gil u gain. dont need level 80 to get silver pieces check the site to see which ones give em at lower levels till then.
