This Week in West Virginia, and across the country, Americans are remembering the horror of September, 11, 2001.
The American death toll from the terrorist attacks that day is just under 3000. But it's estimated the subsequent wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have claimed more than 100,000 civilian lives and more than 6 thousand of our soldiers.
Tonight we reflect on the costs of these wars- by remembering West Virginia's fallen soldiers.
