HXN6 is a hybrid locomotive, which is specially developed by CRRC Ziyang for large marshaling yards. It can be used as a shunting locomotive and transfer locomotive. The power source of the locomotive consists of a large-capacity power battery pack and diesel genset. And the locomotive can be driven by power battery pack, diesel genset separately or jointly under different loads and service conditions.
