Colin: Hey guys, it's Colin here at etrailer. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Fat Bike Adapter for the Thule UpRide roof bike rack. This adapter is going to allow you to get your Fat tire bike loaded on your UpRide bike rack. You can see right away this is the cradle that came with our UpRide. And it did very well for my road bike and my mountain bike, but once I got my Fat tire bike I just really needed a new way to carry it and I didn't want to have to invest in a new bike rack, whether that meant on the roof rack or even getting a hitch mounted one. With this new cradle it's going to be wide enough to support any Fat tire bike up to 5" wide.

This strap is also going to be longer so it can safely secure it. Once you push it all down, we can ratchet it down just like the other cradle. And that's going to be secure for the trip.Great part about this is that, even if I don't want to take my fat tire bike out one day or maybe I want to take my mountain bike, I don't have to replace the adapter. I can still use this for my mountain bike and my road bike. The adapter is going to be very easy to replace.

All you got to do is pop the end cap off. The old one just slides off and then the new one just slides right into the same spot. You're still going to have that adjustability depending on the length of your Fat tire bike to be able to safely get it secured. Now this is just going to be a nice and easy way to get your Fat bike loaded onto your bike rack without having to invest in a new one.Well thank you all for watching.
