(24 Jul 2014) The Malaysian Prime Minister said on Thursday that it would be impossible to bring home the bodies of the Malaysian victims of the crashed Malaysia Airlines plane before the end of the month of Ramadan.
Najib Razak made his comments during a visit to the Dutch Ambassador's residence in Kuala Lumpur.
After signing a book of condolence at the residence, Razak stated that the body identification process and the forensic works could take weeks, or even months.
The first flight with body remains arrived on Dutch soil on Wednesday.
Razak also said he was angry that investigators still did not have full access to the crash site.
While the Dutch Ambassador Harry Molenaar said that after the bodies were returned home, they would like to see justice.
