On Friday 22nd November 2019, the IET moved back to the Adelaide Oval McLachlin Room for its 4th Annual Defence Professional Networking Event. Our keynote speakers were Chris Keane, BAE Systems Chief of Future Business and Paul Evans, GM of AWD Alliance. This event in some ways amounted to the passing of the baton. Between the current Surface Shipbuilder of the 3 x AWD's at ANI's Osborne Surface Shipyard and the follow on Surface Shipbuilder, BAE Systems, the winner of SEA5000 and the construction of the 9 x Hunter Class Frigates.

In addition to the two keynote speakers, we were lucky to have GHD's Digital Lead, Rohan Koenig talking about GHD's Digital activities in Defence in Australia.
