UN Secretary General Kofi Annan arrived in Paris Thursday (19/2) for talks with President Jacques Chirac before heading for Baghdad Friday (20/2) where he will meet Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in a bid to avert a possible military strike againt Iraq. Annan was greeted at the airport by French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine.
