In this short video, I show you an easy, safe and cheap way to clean your flat screen tv or computer monitor. This method has worked wonders for me for many years and is something I have to do about once every three months.

First, you need a brand new microfiber cloth. Do not use used or dirty microfiber cloths and this can scratch and damage your screen.

Unplug your flat screen tv or computer monitor from power.

Applying slight pressure, move the microfiber cloth up and down over your screen. Do not use circular motion as this can cause swirl scratches on the screen.

If there are stubborn areas that are harder to get clean, it is okay to use a little water and apply it directly to the microfiber cloth to help aid in removing the dirty spots. Do not apply water directly to your screen or ever use a spray bottle.

I have found water works really well with a clean microfiber cloth. Never use chemical cleaners with alcohol or ammonia in them as this can cause damage.

After you are finished wiping down your screen, it is important to let it air dry for a few hours before powering on the TV.
