Thursday, May 17, 2012, 11:32 AM. This second video of the ascent of the electric cogwheel trolley up Mount Corcovado to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue begins with a longer look into the unused rear control cabin. Many of you probably know more what you're looking at here than I do; to me it's some controls and some red LED lights that change as the train accelerates. At about 3:55 we pass a descending train that has pulled onto one of the sidings. Although the train ascends through a jungle-covered mountain, there are several stops along the way. This video ends at "Paneira's Station" and I briefly show the "Do Not Lean Out of the Window" sign and the small schematic map of the trolley route with all the stops.
