In a historical move, the Supreme Court has begun live streaming of three separate constitutional benches from September 27. The move will take the Supreme Court a step ahead in the direction of transparency.
According to officials involved with this project, beginning in a few days the live streaming of constitutional bench cases will begin from the NIC platform rather than on YouTube or any other platform. But officials confirmed that the Supreme Court is in the process of having its separate OTT in future purposes on the lines of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, which is also under development process.
