Brian Whitmore, a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council's Eurasia Center, discussed the potential impact of Russia's nuclear power presence in Belarus and the involvement of the Wagner Group on regional and global security.
"There’s acute awareness in the Kremlin that any time somebody in Russia says "nuclear weapons," people in Washington and Brussels begin scurrying under their desks," he said. "This is a PSYOP to get us to be worried that Russia is going to potentially use nuclear weapons."
