On August 24 Ukraine celebrates Independence Day in memory of the declaration of independence in 1991. Uppsala Municipality observes the occasion by illuminating selected places in the city centre in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
In this video the chairman of the municipal board and the chairman of the municipal council sends their regards and support to the Ukrainian people on the independence day.
