After nearly two years and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes drama, “Yellowstone” is finally returning for what could be its final run of episodes.
Since a new episode of the neo-western last aired, star Kevin Costner was “stunned” by his wife filing for divorce and even later cited that he couldn’t afford hefty child support payments without “Yellowstone,” even after he confirmed his exit from the series in part to focus on his own series of film westerns “Horizon: An American Saga.”The show went on anyway, entering production of the last six episodes in the fifth and possibly final series of the show.
