Hi guys, in this 'Two Minute Tuesday' video (I know it's a little longer than 2 mins) I am showing you how easy it is to remove your pick-guard, check your connections, and clean those pots! All you will need is a screwdriver, electrical contact cleaner, and a cloth. This video is aimed for anyone out there who has never before done this type of maintenance on their guitars. You will see in this video that it is very quick, simple, and easy to do. If you have any doubts about doing it yourself hopefully once you have seen this you will feel confident to have a go yourself!

My first guitars were very inexpensive so I always had a go at doing things for myself. If I made any mistakes it would not have been the end of the world. I can imagine that anyone spending a load of cash on a really high end guitar might feel a little more cautious about doing there own maintenance. It's good to be careful and think each stage through before attempting anything new. From my experience there always seem to be surprises and unexpected issues. It's always good to be prepared and get as much information beforehand to avoid any regrets later on. I made many errors in the past when attempting to do things myself and not just with guitars. I have learned some valuable lessons which I am hoping to share with some of you through my videos in the hope that your attempts will be much smoother than some of mine once were.
