In this video, I take a walk around the Old City of Jerusalem. I started my walk at the Western Wall. From there, I wound my way through the Old City. We'll walk past shops, restaurants, temples, historic sites, and more.
The Old City is a fascinating place to walk around. It is a 1 square kilometer walled area in East Jerusalem. The walls were built by the Ottoman Empire. The Old City is divided into 4 quarters: the Jewish Quarter, the Christian Quarter, the Muslim Quarter, and the Armenian Quarter. A few of the main points of interest include the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and Dome of the Rock.
This area is incredibly touristy. The streets are clean and safe. I took a free walking tour of the Old City and then explored on my own afterward.
