(2 Nov 2018) Indonesian authorities began transporting debris from the crashed Lion Air jet to an undisclosed location for further investigation on Friday.
Pieces of the plane that plunged into the Java Sea early Monday were loaded onto a truck at the crisis operation center in a Jakarta port.
The plane crashed just minutes after taking off, killing all 189 people on board.
