The camp is located at the height of 7500 feet from Sea level in Dhanaulti, between Mussoorie Chamba roads under Tehri Garhwal District. Dhanaulti is located 23 KM away from Mussoorie on the ways to Kanatal towards Chamba. It has spread in the area of more than 1.25 hectare in stare shape as usual at mountains, surrounded by green trees, gives a scenic view of a river in the valley and the glaciers of Bandar Poonch, and Gangotri of great Himalayas.
