Common causes of these atrophic scars are acne and chickenpox. This procedure provides the patient with a refreshed, youthful-looking appearance. With this treatment, doctors smoothes your wrinkles and helps even out irregular skin pigmentation.
In addition, TCA Peels are very effective at tightening the skin around and under the eyes. In many cases, TCA Cross treatment works better for certain atrophic acne scars than laser treatments. Darker skin types may need to use a 50% TCA solution to treat their scars, as opposed to 100% TCA in lighter skin patients. The recovery time of TCA Cross is 3 to 8 days, and differs from patient to patient. The results can be observed after the recovery time has passed.
