"I was unable to put this guitar down this morning, because it suits my personal taste in acoustic guitars just about perfectly. I divide my time between fingerstyle and pickstyle about 50-50, so I'm always looking for warm guitars with a clear, full voice that are versatile enough to excel in lots of different contexts. This OM-21 checks all of those boxes and then some! It has a round, open-throated attack that makes achieving even, consistent articulation feel easier. After your pick or finger touches the string, this serial greets you with a powerful, sonorous fundamental in the low midrange to go with focused, warm, thumping bass response. The highs are as clear, open, and sunny as a summer Colorado day. I also love small acoustic guitars with lots of headroom, which this beastly OM-21 has in spades thanks to its Adirondack spruce top. You lay into this serial with plenty of right-hand vigor, and it will still sound open and clear. Nevertheless, the small body allows you to max out the top comfortably while strumming, which pulls all sorts of delightful sparkling overtones out of the midrange and the trebles. Articulate, clear, warm, versatile, balanced, and dynamic: what's not to like? I certainly couldn't find anything, and as a result I am confident that this guitar's many strengths will inspire you endlessly on your acoustic adventure."
