For the first time in history, a Refugee Olympic Team will compete in the Olympics, representing more than 21 million refugees around the world.

Team Refugees:
10 refugees who fled horrors we can only imagine have overcome adversity to excel in their sports. Along the way they demonstrated Olympic values of determination, courage and inspiration, to win the honour of participating in the first-ever Refugee Olympic Team.
Now they are on a journey to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games - and Brazil is just the first chapter of their story.
