Replacing the timing belt and water pump on a 2012 Renault Clio 1.2 16V D4F
I did a similar video a number of years ago on a Clio II with a 1.2 16V D4F engine. However, there are a few differences on the III that made this video worth doing.
This clio was bought with 68,000 miles but included no service history or record that the timing belt had been changed, if it was on its original belt then it was due to a replacement. Not knowing the state of the belt a new one was purchased as preventative maintenance.
The belt kit cost just under £100, and took about 3 hours of time to complete.
