1st visit to Barnes Bridge on the Hounslow Loop Line featuring services from South Western Railway including Reading and Windsor Diverts as well.
Barnes Bridge station was a later addition on the Hounslow Loop Line which opened on March 12th 1916 on the surrey side of the River Thames which leads onto Barnes Railway Bridge which trains from London Waterloo cross the River Thames after leaving the station
The station is unstaffed and the former ticket office is now a physiotherapy clinic
Although Barnes station is nearby however surprisingly Barnes Bridge is more of the central of the two and it can be very busy when the annual Boat Race takes place on the River Thames itself.
In normal service 1 train every 15 minutes call here with Loop services to and from London Waterloo and 2 trains per hours to and from Weybridge alternating each other
On the day of film due to engineering works between Barnes and Feltham via Richmond meant only Weybridge services were calling at all stations on the Hounslow Loop Line whilst services to and from Reading & Windsor & Eton Riverside were on divert calling additionally at Hounslow and Barnes.
