The star of the show at Morris County Golf Club is the challenging and stunning course designed by Seth Raynor, spread across 150 acres. And here's a fun fact: from day one, this club was one of a kind. It was the brainchild of a group of women, which was pretty groundbreaking back in the day before women were even allowed to vote. These trailblazing ladies showed everyone what they were made of, and they did an awesome job getting this amazing golf club off the ground. Morris County Golf Club has some rich history, too. They've been a part of the United States Golf Association since 1895, and they were the first place in New Jersey to host a national championship. Some big names in the golf world have been linked to this place, like Harry Vardon, Ted Ray, Bobby Jones (a legend), Chick Evans, Walter Kozak, Elaine and Louis Gillespie, and Billy Dear, among others.

Now, this club has been through the wringer – fires, world wars, the Great Depression, you name it. But they didn't back down. They've stuck around because of what they stand for. It's not just about their fancy facilities – it's about the vibe they've created. Back in the day, the founding members wanted to build a place where people treated each other with respect, and they made it happen. That's the legacy they've passed down, and the current gang is just as committed to keeping those traditions alive. Their determination is what makes the Morris County Golf Club special.
