This sorghum/ jowar millet bread is gluten-free, dairy free, and egg-less.
Ingredients:
🔅1/2 cup lukewarm water + 1/2 cup + 1/2cup
(Total water 1.5 cups + 2 tbsp only if required)
🔅1/2 tbsp sugar
🔅7 grams active yeast
🔅3 tbsp psyllium husk
🔅1/2 tbsp salt
🔅2 tbsp olive oil
🔅1.5 cups of sorghum flour/ Millet flour
🔅1/3 cup of potato starch
🔅2 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
Sorghum/ Jowar is a naturally gluten-free and nutrient-rich grain. It is a good source of dietary fiber, protein, and micronutrients like copper, zinc, magnesium, selenium, and B vitamins. It is also an excellent source of antioxidants.
You can toast this bread in toasters or on the pan, it gets nice brown color. This bread is also perfect for making sandwiches and in school lunch boxes.
